One of the most amazing things about babies is that the majority of their advances in your baby’s brain structure occurs in the first 3 months of their life. During those 3 months over 2 million new brain cell connections are made every second. So you do the math, those first 3 months are critical in their developmental stages. That is why our classes and lesson plans are created to support and expand your babies developmental senses through sound, sight, touch, and smells. Each class you and your baby will experience creative play time, visual stimulation, texture development, scents and of course a great combination of nursery rhymes to help develop early speech and language skills, also sensory signing activities to help you and your baby communicate from birth. Each week you and your little will encounter different activities, with some similarities week to week, so your baby recognizes and feels comfortable in their surrounding.

• An education specifically created to help your baby learn and develop important skills.

We have 3 different age classes for baby sensory, to ensure your child is receiving the most appropriate learning for their developmental stage. Each class will focus on slightly different activities to ensure they are meeting their needs in an age appropriate way! We will still focus on all the senses, just in different ways! Here are the breakdowns for each class:

• 0-6 Months- This class will focus on tummy time and back play to sitting up exercises to help encourage all these developmental stages whilst still having play time. This will include listening to nursery rhymes and songs, watching light and bubble shows, musical instruments and many more fun activities. These activities will be appropriate for the distance they can see, and making sure the decibel of sound isn’t too loud.

• 6-12 Months- Focussing on sitting up and crawling/ walking is such a fun age, so we will have multiple different activities available for them to encourage these skills and still have fun play time through light shows, puppet shows, story time, sing a longs, bubbles, ball pits, musical instruments and more these activities will be appropriate for the distance they can see, and making sure the decibel of sound isn’t too loud.

• 12-24 Months- Crawling/ Walking/ Jumping/ Running are all the fun skills your little one will be experiencing through this time. By this age, they will have so much energy and we will make sure we have fun activities for them to be involved with to enhance those skills, with help from you! We will have ball pits, tunnels, light shows, puppet shows, story time, sing a long songs, musical instruments and more!

We want you to feel comfortable at all times, so encourage you to follow babies needs. So feel free to feed and change baby whenever you wish, and also if that little one needs a snooze, enjoy the class whilst they sleep!
